Future Star team members spent a few days downtown at the PRI trade show. This is the 34th year of the motorsports industry trade show, where companies debuted their newest and best products for the next season! PRI fills the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium with exhibitors. So if you are looking for anything motorsports-related and can’t find it here, you are doing something wrong! This year Tony Stewart started the convention by having breakfast and signing autographs for attendees.
Our mechanics and team were able to peruse through the vast exhibits and search out the newest advances in the racing industry. This could range from tools, car parts, seats, car fluids, and suits to parts cleaners!
PRI is also a great place to reconnect with old friends from the industry and an even better place for teams to network.
In addition to the vendor booths, there are also many educational exhibits so we can keep at the top of our game and give our drivers the best of the best! These education classes included Failure Analysis: Broken Parts and the Tales They Tell, Unlocking Horsepower Through A Systems Approach, and The Race for Sponsorship. These classes and exhibits continue to push our team to become the best in the industry, always learning and looking to find ways to improve, go faster, and be safer! “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
One of the favorite experiences our newest mechanic Bob Shutt saw was the 1920 Ford Model T Speedster.
Open to PRI Members who work in the motorsports industry, the PRI Show is the most influential business event in racing. Featuring the newest parts and technology, access to countless manufacturers and service providers, and virtually unlimited opportunities to network face-to-face with industry leaders, the PRI Show is where the racing industry gathers under one roof for three days in December. If you’re in the business of racing, you have to be at the PRI Show!
